Zero Gravity -
Installation of sculptures Darlan Rosa, Brookfield Place in Toronto Canada.
There are 6 sphered sculptures of 1.5 meters in diameter that are suspended by steel cables in the ceiling of the Gallery.
The gallery is actually a street in downtown Toronto, which closed by a dome of glass and steel, connects the buildings on both sides of the street. It works like a large conservatory, surrounded by shops cafes and restaurants and is also the entrance to the tunnels, where the townspeople have fun in the winter and access the meter. The structure was designed by architect Santiago Calatrava. To install the sculptures, the production hired 4 climbers to climb the structure and set the SWR. The Brookfield Place is one of the most prestigious places in Toronto and is located in the City of Toronto.
The exhibition is sponsored by Brookfield and incorporation of the Brazilian Consulate in Toronto.
The exhibit opened on September 3rd and stayed until the end of September 2010. |
